The space

Three en suite double bedrooms plus a separate bathroom: that is four bathrooms for up to seven guests. There is no shower rota in the morning, so a whole crew can be up, showered and out of the door at the same time.

The house is a quiet residential terrace in the South Park area, five minutes from Darlington station and about ten minutes on foot from the town centre. Parking is free on the street at the front, with room for cars and vans. Arrivals are by lockbox from 3pm, so a late finish does not turn into a late check-in.

Downstairs there is a lounge with two sofas, a Smart TV and French doors to a private rear patio with two picnic benches. The kitchen has an oven, hob, extractor, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Fast WiFi runs throughout, and there are proper space and lighting to work from if you need to catch up on admin between shifts.

Bedroom 1

A double bed with bedside tables and lamps, a wardrobe, and a private en suite shower room with shower, basin and WC.

Bedroom 4

A single bed with a bedside table and chest of drawers, using the separate bathroom.

Bathroom

The separate bathroom has a full bath with an overhead shower, basin and WC. It serves the single room and anyone who would rather have a bath after a shift.

Lounge and kitchen

Two sofas, a Smart TV (sign in to Netflix with your own account), a feature fireplace, and French doors to the patio. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher and a washing machine for longer jobs.

Good for

Contractor teams

Four bathrooms, four bedrooms with space for seven, free on-street parking that takes a van, and a lockbox so a late finish still means a late arrival, not a missed one. Invoices are available if the company is paying.

Working weeks and longer jobs

A kitchen and a washing machine rather than a hotel room. Say how long you need when you enquire, and we will tell you what is free.

Families and small groups

Four bedrooms and a private patio, five minutes from the station and ten minutes from the town centre, with South Park a few minutes' walk away.
